Appearance: Colorless clear liquid
Stability : 1. Chemical properties: It can form addition compounds with halogens and metal halides. Or react with alkyl halides to form sulfonides. It oxidizes to form sulfoxides, and then it oxidizes to form sulfones. In case of open fire and high heat, it is easy to burn and explode. Thermal decomposition produces toxic sulphide fumes.
2. This product is toxic. Low concentrations of dimethyl sulfide vapor generally cause nausea, appetite loss, high concentrations of vapor on the central nervous system has a paralyzing effect. The production process should be closed to prevent running, bubbling, dripping and leaking. Production site to strengthen ventilation, operators should wear protective equipment. In case of poisoning, move to a place with fresh air and seek medical treatment.
