Storage conditions for 2-methylfuran
1. Storage Containers
Material: Containers must be made of stainless steel, carbon steel, or specially lined corrosion-resistant steel. Ensure the containers are tightly sealed and leak-free.
Type: For small quantities, sealed metal drums can be used. Large-scale storage requires fixed-roof tanks equipped with a nitrogen blanketing system to isolate the contents from air and control internal pressure.

2. Storage Environmental Conditions
Temperature: Store in a cool, well-ventilated area. The ambient temperature is recommended to be below 30°C. During high-temperature seasons, forced cooling measures should be taken to prevent volatilization and a rise in tank pressure.
