2-bromothiazole is a biochemical reagent that can be used as a biomaterial or organic compound for life science related research. 2-bromothiazole, for research use only. It is also used as an aryl halide, for n-arylation of 5-and 7-azindoles. Copper catalyzed cyanidation provides 2 -cyanothiazoles.
