The Usage of 2-methylthio-3-methylpyrazine
2-methylthio-3-methylpyrazine is mainly used in the preparation of food flavors, especially in the preparation of nuts, roasted and meat flavor. In addition, it is also regulated as a permissible flavor for food, according to GB 2760-1996, and can be used as a coffee flavor enhancer. In terms of the use limit, FEMA sets the use limit for cold drinks, sweets, jelly and puddings at 2.0 mg/kg, and for baked goods at 4.0 mg/kg.Can also be used as coffee flavoring agent.
